The work is called ”Yearlings”, young horses about to become adults, as are the kids and teenagers who will inhabit the school, and they are just as energetic, playful and inventive.

The work ties the room together, making a whole of a motley place that actually consists of two corridors with several doors and a sitting area behind the stairs. The vibrant colors hopefully inspires and make the place a bit magical and imaginative. The mirror mosaics hang at a child-friendly height, but it takes some skill and patience to be able to reflect oneself in them. I wish that the children of the Fredriksborg school can have an experience 

of belonging and pride in their school.
